Helping give everyone a break

People often help out people who don't get a break, and they never get credit.

Here's a little status update from the Sex Workers Outreach Project.

Just a quick summary of what's going on with SWOP. Mark Leno's office
has contacted us to work on statewide legislation to provide immunity to sex workers who testify against their assailants. This is going to happen this year! We are meeting with DA Kamala Harris in SF to discuss how to protect sex workers (this includes exotic dancer and massage parlors) from discrimination and violence in the workplace. We are in the process of scheduling a city services
public hearing with Supervisor Bevan Dufty in coordination with Supervisor Fiona Ma. We have approached the new Mayor Gavin Newsom with the idea of supporting our local initiative and statewide decriminalization of prostitution. Finally, we are filing a deposition against the serial rapist in Oakland on Tuesday in the Mayor's office with the Oakland P.D.

Some time ago, I needed to buy a house for my firm but I did not have enough cash and could not buy something. Thank God my mate proposed to try to get the business loans from creditors. Thus, I did that and used to be satisfied with my short term loan.
