Cory Doctorow's "Eastern Standard Tribe"
Hey, Cory writes a lot of good commentary and I've already read his first two books, Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom and also a collection of stories A Place So Foreign.
I'm now halfway through his new book, Eastern Standard Tribe.
It's hard for me to talk about the book, takes place ten years hence, good story, good extrapolation of current trends. Reminds me of William Gibson's "Pattern Recognition".
I really recommend it.
You can catch him in SF at forthcoming readings at Borderlands on 2/19 or at Booksmith on 2/25, both very good independent bookstores!
(Writing this reminds me that book reviewing is hard.)
