Folks, you might recall that a lot of votes got removed or ignored during the 2000 Presidential election.
Specifically, a lot of names of people of color got removed from voter rolls, and it usually happened for likely Democratic voters controlled by suspect politicos, like in Florida.
States like Florida will now have people actively investigating the situation, trying to prevent the situation.
One such group is Votewatch, which I've joined as an advisor.
The deal is that this group really is a big deal, and I want to help out the people who are really helping prevent another suspicious election.
Why is Votewatch needed? Because America's election system is badly flawed. So flawed, that a Caltech/MIT study of the 2000 Presidential Election discovered that as many as 6 million citizens were disenfranchised due to procedural and technological anomalies. That's as many as 1 out of every 18 voters!
Votewatch is working hard to change this, but creating sweeping change isn't simple. Votewatch's scientific real time election monitoring and their other efforts rely on articipation and interest from citizens like you.
Please help out however you can, thanks!
