Well, I've been very marginally involved in Daylife, which takes a good look at what's going on and makes it really accessible. It powers the NewsRanker on the home page of the Huffington Post. It's also a platform of news applications that will feed not only its own site but also, via its API, sites large and small that want to bring new ways to view relevant news to their readers.
Here's what Steve Rubel has to say:
Daylife may not be the most comprehensive news site on the web, but it's a winner. It aggregates content in a compelling way that is easy to read. That's something we sorely need in a world of limitless choices.
