Hey, I just got video blogged, saying briefly that leadership, hard as it is to articulate, is what Barack's about.

You can find it on YouBama, a really good viral effort by Christopher Pedregal and Eric Park.

(Hey, I want to be voted as popular as George Clooney; that would be the same as voting for George Costanza, preserving the number of Georges.)

Also available on YouTube here.

Well you only need about 5,000 more votes to catch up with George Clooney, but there are others such as the little blond headed girl and others that have 10s of thousands of more votes. But you are still on the first page of the the most popular videos here http://www.youbama.com/popular/ .
The youbama site is very fun, and it is apparently easy to add a video to the site.
Remind folks to check in on the http://longestwalk.org website. Events begin today February 8 and continue each day to the ceremonies at Alcatraz on February 11. The Longest Walk 2 is a grassroots effort, and walkers could use some support from people sponsoring walkers. By the way those helping to get the most sponsors for the walkers (at $10 per day per walker) will win artwork donated by American Indian artists (information about this is under the walkers tab) A wishlist of items needed including items needed for the medical team, is also posted on the site.
There are downloadable Longest Walk 2 posters in various locations on the website, and Tshirts for sale to help raise money to support the walk.
The Longest Walk 2 website is fascinating with information on both the Northern and Southern routes people will be walking as well as historial information, such as photos, text, newsarticles, etc about the first Longest Walk in 1978. I am sorry that I am unable to attend the kickof events that will be occurring Feb 8, 9, 10 and leading into the ceremonies at Alcatraz Island on Feb 11, and more, but those of you in San Francisco can do so.
Help protect Mother Earth, Sacred Sites, All Life is Sacred, and Plan with the Seventh Generation in mind — support folks joining in on the Longest Walk.
Walkers are coming from Japan, Russia, Poland, Germany, Canada, Mexico and from all over the United States. I am hoping the media will be reporting reasons these different individuals decided to walk. In that regard the website has a VOICES tab and once they begin walking , walkers will be uploading stories and photos on the Longest Walk 2 website.
I am a supporter of the Longest Walk 2, but am not a Longest Walk 2 organizer, just a long time Craigslist user.
But back to the youbama website. I think that website will change how future campaigns are run and how people get involved. It is a great site if you have time to click on the videos to see what various folks have to say. And sorry Craig, but it seems like your video is losing out to some of the others including the music/rap videos. But hey, you can't have everything.
