Hey, Litquake is a really good book/authors festival, highly recommended!

(Disclaimer, since I believe in it, just joined their advisory board.)

On Tuesday, June 2, Litquake will kick off its 10th anniversary year with Cocktails with Canin! The acclaimed author Ethan Canin will be in town for the paperback release of "America America," praised by the late John Updike in the New Yorker as "masterly." He'll be sharing cocktails and conversation onstage with former San Francisco Chronicle book editor, Oscar Villalon, and YOU. For $55, VIP ticket
buyers will be fed, rub elbows with literati, and get preferred
seating. Litquake is also offering a general admission ticket price
of just $15.

Everyone who attends will be helping support Litquake's
mission to host a vibrant forum for Bay Area authors and writing in
its 10th anniversary year and beyond! Tuesday, June 2, Broadway
Studios, 435 Broadway, SF. 6 pm VIP Reception ($55); 8pm on-stage
conversation with Ethan Canin & book-signing ($15).
