I love that you took this video. My big exciting spot this summer was a pair of immature golden eagles at our place in Tobermory. Had my binoculars with me and everything – they were just a few hundred feet away, amazing thing to see!

Wow, one of the birds in the bath is a Chestnut-backed
Chickadee.
That is about the south end of their range. The gray
sides denote that it is a Marin County and southward bird.
The other ones are Purple Finch, I think. They look like
our House Finch, so they could be those.

The chickadees have been around in large numbers in the area… the Sutro Forest undergrowth has been full of them, as well as the gardens around.
