The good of doing lots of retweeting on Twitter

On Twitter, I'm craignewmark and recently, I've been doing a lot of retweeting of the comments of other people, who are making smarter observations than mine. People have asked me what's the deal?
The deal's that the world needs to hear more from such folks, and y'know, I don't have all that many original thoughts. It's often better to get out of the way, and instead, provide a vehicle for smarter people.
Right now, I'm at the Gov 2.0 Summit, where a lot of smart people are getting stuff done to make our lives better; not just talk, but actual results. As a result, you might see bursts of retweeting from me.
As ever, you might see me indulge my sense of humor, hence the retweeting of @common_squirrel. Please indulge me; I'm a human male, hard to restrain myself.
Twitter for my company, is a very fast tool for exchange of views between customers traveling to buy lots in Costa Rica, and they decide between buying in the central Pacific and north Pacific.

It has been argued that smaller businesses also benefit from using Twitter, since they can compete on equal terms with larger businesses within the Twitter platform.
