San Francisco moving ahead with open government

Sf More and more local government is getting serious about government that tells you what's going on, particularly where the money goes.

Mayor Gavin Newsom has already pushed hard in that direction, next is the Board of Supervisors.

They just held a hearing on open data legislation that has been proposed by the Mayor's Office. Your support during the public comment period is needed to ensure that this policy becomes law.
