Every day is Memorial Day

Okay, my fiance asked me why I only did my normal level of support for veterans and military families on Memorial Day.
My blurt was that "for me, every day's Memorial Day."
Some days more than others, like at conferences on 7 June and also 17 June.
Seriously, though, as a nerd, I want to get stuff done, all the time, not just on special occasions.
