Service & Volunteering

We need more people to understand that by being of service at home or around the world, we're also ultimately helping ourselves. Volunteering is an investment of someone's time and talent. Volunteering should be a part of everyone's lives; even if it's a small effort, it'll make a big difference.

Veterans and Military Families

If someone is willing to risk a bullet to protect me, least I can do is to support them. That means helping returning vets get jobs, medical and educational benefits they’ve earned, support for their families, and more.

AARP stands up and help all us card-carrying members. Formerly the American Association of Retired Persons, they advocate on behalf of older Americans and help us find ways to help each other.

Computer technology and social media are an important economic growth area in places such as the Middle East and developing countries. I want to help get tech centers and the network infrastructure built to support growing communities.

Open Government

We need government which gets stuff done fairly, without more privileges for the already-privileged. A big part of that’s to get the people in government to be transparent about policy and finance.

Advisory Committee on Transparency educates policymakers on transparency-related issues, problems, and solutions and they share ideas with members of the Congressional Transparency Caucus.
