A new look for the Iraq & Afghanistan Vets of America

Hey, IAVA means a lot to many Americans, particularly veterans of the current conflicts.

As a board member, I’m proud to say they stand for a different generation and a new future for our country. This week, ahead of Memorial Day, the veterans’ organization rallied thousands of Americans across the country to help create and unveil a new identity that captures a new spirit of community and gives the new veterans’ movement more momentum. Their new logo reflects the commitment of the more than 2.2 million vets of Iraq and Afghanistan who have served since 9/11.

We need to give our vets our commitment to get them what they need to deal with the issues they’re facing, from staggering unemployment to invisible wounds.

If you haven’t already, check out the new IAVA logo. This Memorial Day, consider making it your Facebook or Twitter icon to support IAVA and show new vets across the country that you’ve got their backs.
