Support for Military Families and Vets, Big Announcement

The new version of the National Resource Directory was just announced at a White House Rose Garden ceremony recently, and it’s a big deal. It has a database of thousands of resources for families and vets, like local government and nonprofit organizations who can help.

One really cool new addition to the site is the job bank, which is to be used for job searches, of particular interest to vets. The site is still a work in progress, and I’m seeing it firsthand — really impressive.

Later on that day, I participated in a live Twitter interview answering questions about support for families and vets, with Paul.

(you’ll be glad to know I called my mom from the Rose Garden.) It was a great experience.
